Using Embroiderer’s Helper on Placket Shirts
Align the template
Position the curved button notch of the Embroiderer’s Helper over the top button of the shirt.
Mark placement
Place a Target Sticker (or marking tool) in the notch that corresponds to the shirt size.
Mark straightness (optional)
Use the upper and/or lower placement notches to mark additional alignment points, helping keep the design square in the hoop.
 
Using Embroiderer’s Helper on T-Shirts & Sweatshirts
Fold the garment
Fold the shirt in half vertically.
Align the neckline
Position the curved neckline of the Embroiderer’s Helper at the bottom of the neck ribbing.
Mark the center
Place a Target Sticker (or marking tool) in the upper notch that corresponds to the shirt size — this marks the center of your design.
Keep it straight (optional)
Place a second Target Sticker in the lower notch to ensure the garment stays square while hooping.
